New Orleans Vampire House
This is a digital painting based on an original photograph by Rebecca Korpita titled 1041 Ursulines of a historic brick building at the corner of Royal and Ursulines in the French Quarter of New Orleans. According to legend, this was once home to a man rumored to be a vampire. As the story goes, this man/vampire attacked and bit a woman late one night. In an effort to escape the vampire the woman threw herself from one of the upstairs windows, landing on the street below.
